Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hargrave Military Academy Tigers (Chatham, VA), 95-63 in a league bout.

With the win, Miller School of Albemarle upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Mavericks host Highland (Warrenton, VA) to play the Hawks in a VISAA Division II bout on Saturday, December 10. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Highland won 62-45 in their recent league bout against Mt. Zion Prep Academy (Lanham, MD)

Next up, the Tigers play the Woodberry Forest Tigers (Woodberry Forest, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Hargrave Military Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 85-39 non-league win over Fishburne Military (Waynesboro, VA).
