North Carolina High School Basketball - Pine Forest overwhelms Triton

December 8, 2022: Fayetteville, NC 28311

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC) and the visiting Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC), saw Pine Forest's basketball squad wallop Triton by a tally of 85-50.

With the victory, Pine Forest improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host Western Harnett (Lillington, NC) to confront the Eagles in a 3A/4A Conference 23 challenge on Friday, December 9. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-5. Western Harnett lost 46-43 in their recent league challenge against Harnett Central (Angier, NC)

Next up, the Hawks confront the Terry Sanford Bulldogs (Fayetteville, NC) in a 3A/4A Conference 23 challenge, on Friday, December 9. Triton will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 67-59 league loss to Overhills (Spring Lake, NC).
