The Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC) basketball nipped the visiting E.E. Smith Golden Bulls (Fayetteville, NC), 55-52 in Friday's league test.

The Jaguars (6-0) will now prepare for their test against Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Pinecrest was tipped by Clayton (Clayton, NC), 69-66, in a non-league test.
