Arizona High School Basketball - North Canyon holds off Desert Edge

December 10, 2024: Phoenix, AZ 85024

The North Canyon Rattlers basketball team scored 39 points and limited the visiting Desert Edge Scorpions to 35 in the Rattlers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rattlers now have a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Willow Canyon for a non-league game on Thursday, December 12. North Canyon will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 57-37 non-league loss to Arizona College Prep (Chandler, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Desert Edge falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Scorpions host Verrado (Buckeye, AZ) to confront the Vipers in a 5A Desert West game on Friday, December 13. The Vipers go into the game with a record of 0-6. Verrado lost 61-31 in their recent non-league game against Centennial (Peoria, AZ)
