Arizona High School Basketball - Desert Edge trounced by Paradise Valley

The Desert Edge Scorpions basketball squad (Goodyear, AZ), was crushed 55-25 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Paradise Valley Trojans (Phoenix, AZ)

With the victory, Paradise Valley advances its record to 11-12 on the year. The Trojans host Verrado (Buckeye, AZ) to meet the Vipers in a 5A Desert West battle on Friday, February 7. The Vipers enter the battle with a record of 6-15. Verrado lost 60-13 in their recent league battle against Canyon View (Waddell, AZ)

The Scorpions now own a 4-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Independence for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 6. Desert Edge will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 49-20 league win over La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ). The Patriots record now stands at 4-10.
