The San Manuel Miners basketball squad (San Manuel, AZ), was nudged 41-40 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Superior Panthers (Superior, AZ)

With the victory, Superior improves its record to 2-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Fort Thomas (Fort Thomas, AZ) to encounter the Apaches in a 1A East challenge on Tuesday, December 16. The Apaches enter the battle with a record of 7-0. Fort Thomas won 75-59 in their recent non-league battle against St. Johns (St. Johns, AZ)

The Miners now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 11.
