The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Mountain Vista Golden Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) and the host Castle View Sabercats (Castle Rock, CO), witnessed Mountain Vista's ice hockey team defeat Castle View by a count of 7-2.

With the win, Mountain Vista moves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Golden Eagles travel to Rampart (Colorado Springs, CO) to confront the Rams in a non-league game on Friday, December 12. The Rams enter the game with a record of 0-4. Rampart lost 11-1 in their recent non-league game against Battle Mountain (Edwards, CO)
