The Forsyth Home Educators Hawks basketball squad (Winston-Salem, NC), was nudged 37-32 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting South Charlotte Thunder (Matthews, NC)

With the victory, South Charlotte advances its record to 1-8 on the year. The Thunder travel to Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC) to meet the Warriors in a non-league battle on Monday, December 16. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 5-4. Metrolina Christian Academy won 44-20 in their recent non-league battle against Harrells Christian Academy (Harrells, NC)

The Hawks now own a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host NC Heat for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 7.
