In Thursday's league contest, the host South Guilford HomeSchool Cougars basketball team scored a big 65-20 triumph over the South Charlotte Thunder.

The Cougars (21-1) will now prepare for their contest against State Line HomeSchool Rush (Galax, VA). The Rush go into the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, State Line HomeSchool Rush smashed Surry HomeSchool (Mount Airy, NC), 44-35, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Thunder confront the Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions (Concord, NC) in a North Carolina Home Education - West contest, on Tuesday, January 14. South Charlotte will attempt to better on its 3-12 season record.
