The Preston Knights basketball team (Kingwood, WV), was routed 54-30 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Elkins Tigers (Elkins, WV)

The Tigers now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty for a Big Ten battle on Friday, December 16. Elkins will battle a Mountaineers team coming off a 73-52 league loss to Lewis County (Weston, WV). The Mountaineers record now stands at 2-2.

The Knights (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV). The Buccaneers come into the Big Ten battle with a 2-1 record.
