Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV) and the visiting Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), saw Bridgeport's basketball squad knock off Preston by a count of 49-34.

With the victory, Bridgeport upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Grafton (Grafton, WV) to play the Bearcats in a Big Ten challenge on Wednesday, January 11. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Grafton won 54-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Union (Mount Storm, WV)

Next up, the Knights play the Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Preston will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Sentinels come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 55-50 non-league win over Boonsboro (Boonsboro, MD).
