The Athens Bulldogs basketball team (The Plains, OH), was overwhelmed 61-27 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Vinton County Vikings (McArthur, OH)

The Vikings now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alexander for a Tri-Valley I battle on Tuesday, December 19. Vinton County will confront a Spartans team coming off a 56-33 non-league loss to Southeastern (Chillicothe, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 0-6.
