Ohio High School Basketball - Vinton County fells Meigs
December 8, 2023: McArthur, OH 45651 Vinton County Vikings (McArthur, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Meigs Marauders (Pomeroy, OH), 70-60 in a league bout.
With the win, Vinton County upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Vikings travel to River Valley (Bidwell, OH) to play the Raiders in a Tri-Valley I bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 1-3. River Valley lost 54-32 in their recent non-league bout against Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV)
Next up, the Marauders play the Athens Bulldogs (The Plains, OH) in a Tri-Valley I bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Meigs will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
