Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA) followers went home content Friday as they observed their basketball team nudge the visiting Kiski Area Cavaliers (Vandergrift, PA), 52-51 in a non-league game.

In their next game, the Fightin' Planets face the Baldwin Highlanders (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, December 27. Mars will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Highlanders enter the game with a 1-0 record after their 50-28 non-league win over Pine-Richland (Gibsonia, PA).
