In Tuesday's league outing, the Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA) basketball squad felled the host Fox Chapel Foxes (Pittsburgh, PA), by a margin of 66-58.

The Fightin' Planets (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against Armstrong (Kittanning, PA). The River Hawks go into the WPIAL 5A 2 outing with a 4-4 record. In their last outing, Armstrong was beaten by Altoona (Altoona, PA), 59-45, in a non-league outing.
