January 25, 2024: Mars, PA 16046

The Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA) basketball felled the visiting Fox Chapel Foxes (Pittsburgh, PA), 50-35 in Thursday's league test.

The Fightin' Planets (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Armstrong (Kittanning, PA). The River Hawks go into the WPIAL 5A 2 test with a 10-3 record. In their last test, Armstrong thwarted New Castle (New Castle, PA), 61-35, in a league test.

The Foxes now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they host Hampton for a WPIAL 5A 2 test on Tuesday, January 30. Fox Chapel will encounter a Talbots squad coming off a 40-32 non-league win over Highlands (Natrona Heights, PA). The Talbots record now stands at 11-5.
