The River Valley Panthers basketball team (Blairsville, PA), was overwhelmed 84-37 in Friday's league battle with the host Portage Mustangs (Portage, PA)

The Mustangs now possess a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cambria Heights for a Heritage battle on Tuesday, December 20. Portage will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 51-46 league win over Homer-Center (Homer City, PA). The Highlanders record now stands at 3-4.

The Panthers (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Marion Center (Marion Center, PA). The Stingers come into the Heritage battle with a 1-5 record.
