North Carolina High School Basketball - North Mecklenburg overwhelms Hough

December 16, 2024: Cornelius, NC 28031

The North Mecklenburg Vikings basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host Hough Huskies to 34 in the Vikings league triumph on Monday.

The Vikings now have a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Winter Haven for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. North Mecklenburg will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 43-40 non-league win over Archbishop Wood (Warminster, PA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Hough falls to 5-1 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Independence (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Patriots in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 18. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 0-8. Independence lost 77-29 in their recent non-league game against Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC)
