The Tombstone Yellow Jackets (Tombstone, AZ) basketball were winner over the visiting Morenci Wildcats (Morenci, AZ), 40-31 in Monday's league bout.

The Yellow Jackets now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Valley Union for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 17. Tombstone will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 56-24 non-league loss to Douglas (Douglas, AZ). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-5.
