December 17, 2022: Carlisle, AR 72024 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Des Arc Eagles (Des Arc, AR) and the host Carlisle Bison (Carlisle, AR), saw Des Arc's basketball squad overcome Carlisle by a tally of 55-40.
With the victory, Des Arc improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Heber Springs (Heber Springs, AR) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Heber Springs won 61-56 in their recent league challenge against Bauxite (Bauxite, AR)
Next up, the Bison confront the England Lions (England, AR) in a 2A Region 5 challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Carlisle will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 75-28 league win over Magnet Cove (Malvern, AR).
