In Tuesday's non-league test, the Gibault Catholic Hawks (Waterloo, IL) basketball squad trounced the visiting Metro-East Lutheran Knights (Edwardsville, IL), by a score of 41-8.

Next, the Hawks encounter the Columbia Eagles (Columbia, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 21. Gibault Catholic will attempt to improve on its 8-2 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 8-3 record after their 54-35 league loss to Breese Central (Breese, IL).
