The Iowa Valley Tigers basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Tri-County Trojans to 36 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Keota for a South Iowa Cedar contest on Tuesday, December 6. Iowa Valley will battle a Eagles team coming off a 45-32 league loss to Sigourney (Sigourney, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-4.

The Trojans (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA). The Plainsmen enter the South Iowa Cedar contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Belle Plaine was nudged by English Valleys (North English, IA), 71-22, in a league contest.
