New Jersey High School Basketball - Middletown South edges St. John-Vianney
December 29, 2023: Middletown, NJ 07748 The Middletown South Eagles (Middletown, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting St. John-Vianney Lancers (Holmdel, NJ), 53-48 in Friday's non-league test.
The Eagles (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Christian Brothers Academy (Lincroft, NJ). The Colts go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Christian Brothers Academy got by West Morris Central (Chester, NJ), 81-59, in a non-league test.
The Lancers now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Point Pleasant Boro for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5.
