The Tempe Buffaloes nipped the host Shadow Mountain Matadors basketball squad by a final score of 37-31 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Buffaloes face the Moon Valley Rockets (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 9. Tempe will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.

With the loss, Shadow Mountain falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Matadors travel to Coronado (Scottsdale, AZ) to confront the Dons in a non-league game on Friday, December 5.
