The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Coronado Dons (Scottsdale, AZ) and the visiting Shadow Mountain Matadors (Phoenix, AZ), observed Coronado's basketball team overwhelm Shadow Mountain by a score of 47-12.

With the victory, Coronado advances its record to 2-4 on the year. The Dons travel to Goldwater (Phoenix, AZ) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 10. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 2-3. Goldwater won 46-37 in their recent non-league battle against Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ)

The Matadors now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Cortez for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 10. Shadow Mountain will battle a Colts team coming off a 72-15 non-league loss to Greenway (Phoenix, AZ). The Colts record now stands at 0-1.
