The Shadow Mountain Matadors basketball squad scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Greenway Demons to 47 in the Matadors league win on Thursday.

Next, the Matadors clash with the North Canyon Rattlers (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, January 13. Shadow Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Rattlers come into the outing with a 1-7 record after their 44-23 league loss to Youngker (Buckeye, AZ).

The Demons (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Moon Valley (Phoenix, AZ). The Rockets come into the 4A Skyline outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Moon Valley was nipped by Paradise Honors (Surprise, AZ), 60-14, in a league outing.
