The Shadow Mountain Matadors basketball team (Phoenix, AZ), was trounced 55-34 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Thunderbird Titans (Phoenix, AZ)

The Titans (15-6) will now prepare for their contest against Moon Valley (Phoenix, AZ). The Rockets come into the 4A Skyline contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Moon Valley smashed Peoria (Peoria, AZ), 57-20, in a non-league contest.

Next up, the Matadors face the Paradise Honors Panthers (Surprise, AZ) in a 4A Skyline match, on Tuesday, January 27. Shadow Mountain will attempt to advance on its 7-14 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 16-5 record after their 55-18 league win over Greenway (Phoenix, AZ).
