California High School Basketball - South Tahoe can't get by Galena

Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA), 43-36 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Galena advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Elko (Elko, NV) to meet the Indians in a non-league match on Friday, December 6. The Indians enter the match with a record of 0-1. Elko lost 42-37 in their recent non-league match against Carson (Carson City, NV)

The Vikings now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Reno for a non-league match on Friday, December 6. South Tahoe will meet a Huskies squad coming off a 48-44 non-league win over Faith Lutheran (Las Vegas, NV). The Huskies record now stands at 2-1.
