The Mercer Island Islanders bounced the visiting Hazen Highlanders basketball squad by a final score of 43-21 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Islanders clash with the Edmonds-Woodway Warriors (Edmonds, WA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, December 6. Mercer Island will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 74-32 non-league win over Cascade (Everett, WA).

The Highlanders (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Renton (Renton, WA). The Red Hawks come into the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Renton bounced Lindbergh (Renton, WA), 51-47, in a league test.
