The Martins Mill Mustangs basketball team (Ben Wheeler, TX), dropped 60-47 in Friday's league battle with the visiting LaPoynor Flyers (LaRue, TX)

The Flyers now possess a 26-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Frankston for a 2A Region III District 19 battle on Tuesday, February 14. LaPoynor will confront a Indians team coming off a 78-33 league win over Cross Roads (Malakoff, TX). The Indians record now stands at 17-12.

The Mustangs (24-6) will now prepare for their battle against Kerens (Kerens, TX). The Bobcats come into the 2A Region III District 19 battle with a 8-14 record. In their last battle, Kerens dropped by Cayuga (Cayuga, TX), 46-41, in a league battle.
