February 10, 2023: Somerville, TX 77879 In Friday's league outing, the Somerville Yeguas (Somerville, TX) basketball squad felled the visiting Snook Bluejays (Snook, TX), by a margin of 71-61.
The Yeguas (15-14) will now prepare for their outing against Mumford (Mumford, TX). The Mustangs go into the 2A Region IV District 26 outing with a 23-10 record. In their last test, Mumford thwarted Normangee (Normangee, TX), 67-42, in a league test.
The Bluejays now own a 8-19 record. They play next when they travel to Burton for a 2A Region IV District 26 test on Tuesday, February 14. Snook will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 55-23 league loss to Iola (Iola, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 2-15.
