February 17, 2023: East Providence, RI 02915 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the St. Mary Academy-Bay View Bengals (East Providence, RI) and the visiting Classical Purples (Providence, RI), saw St. Mary Academy-Bay View's basketball squad knock off Classical by a count of 49-36.
With the victory, St. Mary Academy-Bay View upgrades its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Bengals travel to Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI) to play the Chieftains in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 20. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a record of 15-6. Ponaganset won 63-57 in their recent league challenge against Juanita Sanchez Complex (Providence, RI)
