Florida High School Softball - Nature Coast Tech sneaks past Hernando

The Nature Coast Tech Sharks softball team scored 4 runs and held the host Hernando Leopards to 3 in the Sharks league win on Tuesday.

The Sharks now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wesley Chapel for a non-league test on Thursday, February 19. Nature Coast Tech will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Wharton (Tampa, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.

The Leopards (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Weeki Wachee (Weeki Wachee, FL). The Hornets go into the 3A District 6 outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Weeki Wachee was tipped by Lecanto (Lecanto, FL), 14-0, in a non-league outing.
