Wisconsin High School Basketball - Mineral Point defeats Darlington
February 18, 2025: Mineral Point, WI 53565 The Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI) basketball were winner over the visiting Darlington Redbirds (Darlington, WI), 57-48 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Pointers now possess a 17-6 record. They play next when they host Fennimore for a Southwest Wisconsin Activities bout on Thursday, February 20. Mineral Point will play a Golden Eagles team coming off a 50-40 league loss to Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 9-14.
With the loss, Darlington falls to 15-7 on the campaign. The Redbirds host River Valley (Spring Green, WI) to play the Blackhawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 18. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a record of 11-12. River Valley lost 52-41 in their recent league bout against Lancaster (Lancaster, WI)
