February 2, 2023: Weyauwega, WI 54983 Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds (Iola, WI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Weyauwega-Fremont Warhawks (Weyauwega, WI), 50-43 in a league bout.
With the victory, Iola-Scandinavia upgrades its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Amherst (Amherst, WI) to play the Falcons in a Central Wisconsin - East bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 8-10.
