The Millington Central Trojans (Millington, TN) basketball nipped the host Covington Chargers (Covington, TN), 76-72 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Trojans (16-13) will now prepare for their test against Melrose (Memphis, TN). The Golden Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 19-10 record. In their last test, Melrose was tipped by Ridgeway (Memphis, TN), 78-54, in a non-league test.

The Chargers now own a 4-21 record. They play next when they travel to Ridgeway for a non-league test on Saturday, February 24. Covington will encounter a Roadrunners squad coming off a 78-54 non-league win over Melrose (Memphis, TN). The Roadrunners record now stands at 21-5.
