Michigan High School Basketball - Algonac knocked off by Almont
February 25, 2023: Almont, MI 48003 The Almont Raiders basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Algonac Muskrats to 37 in the Raiders league triumph on Saturday.
The Raiders now sport a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Caro for a non-league contest on Monday, February 27. Almont will battle a Tigers team coming off a 42-39 league win over Bad Axe (Bad Axe, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 18-4.
The Muskrats (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Marine City (Marine City, MI). The Mariners enter the non-league contest with a 17-4 record. In their last contest, Marine City ran past Lamphere (Madison Heights, MI), 55-26, in a non-league contest.
