Lapel Bulldogs (Lapel, IN) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting New Castle Trojans (New Castle, IN), 70-63 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Lapel advances its record to 18-5 on the year.

The Trojans now own a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Muncie Central for a non-league match on Friday, February 28. New Castle will meet a Bearcats squad coming off a 59-49 non-league win over Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN). The Bearcats record now stands at 7-15.
