New Castle Trojans (New Castle, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Connersville Spartans (Connersville, IN), 61-41 in a non-league match.

With the victory, New Castle upgrades its record to 9-14 on the year. The Trojans travel to Delta (Muncie, IN) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, March 8. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 15-7. Delta won 49-39 in their recent non-league match against Yorktown (Yorktown, IN)

The Spartans now sport a 10-15 record.
