February 3, 2023: Avon Lake, OH 44012 In Friday's league outing, the Avon Lake Shoremen (Avon Lake, OH) basketball squad felled the visiting Steele Comets (Amherst, OH), by a margin of 73-55.
The Shoremen (16-2) will now prepare for their outing against Elyria (Elyria, OH). The Pioneers go into the Southwestern outing with a 13-6 record. In their last outing, Elyria was beaten by North Ridgeville (North Ridgeville, OH), 69-54, in a league outing.
The Comets now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they travel to Elyria for a Southwestern outing on Friday, February 10.
