Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD), 75-73 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bishop O'Connell upgrades its record to 10-10 on the season. The Knights travel to Father Judge (Philadelphia, PA) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 9-9. Father Judge lost 76-64 in their recent league challenge against St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia, PA)

Next up, the Falcons confront the The Heights (Potomac, MD) in a Washington Catholic challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Our Lady of Good Counsel will attempt to improve on its 15-9 season record. The come into the challenge with a 3-15 record after their 97-45 league loss to Paul VI (Chantilly, VA).
