February 3, 2023: Gainesville, GA 30501 In Friday's league match, the visiting Lanier Longhorns basketball team scored a decisive 77-51 triumph over the Gainesville Red Elephants.
In their next game, the Longhorns meet the Habersham Central Raiders (Mt. Airy, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 8 match, on Tuesday, February 7. Lanier will attempt to better on its 19-4 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 14-8 record after their 50-48 league loss to North Forsyth (Cumming, GA).
