The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) and the host Sissonville Indians (Charleston, WV), observed Ripley's basketball team knock off Sissonville by a score of 52-40.

The Vikings (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Winfield (Winfield, WV). The Generals come into the Cardinal challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Winfield was knocked off by Nitro (Nitro, WV), 77-49, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Indians encounter the Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) in a Cardinal challenge, on Friday, February 7. Sissonville will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 61-51 non-league loss to Riverside (Belle, WV).
