The Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) basketball were winner over the host Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV), 49-34 in Friday's league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 15-5 record. They play next when they travel to Ravenswood for a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 26.

With the loss, Hoover falls to 13-4 on the campaign. The Huskies host Wayne (Wayne, WV) to play the Pioneers in a Cardinal bout on Monday, February 24. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 14-5. Wayne lost 51-46 in their recent non-league bout against St. Joseph Central (Huntington, WV)
