February 6, 2024: Rabun Gap, GA 30568 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Asheville Christian Academy Lions (Swannanoa, NC) and the host Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles (Rabun Gap, GA), saw Asheville Christian Academy's basketball squad overcome Rabun Gap-Nacoochee by a tally of 71-55.
With the victory, Asheville Christian Academy improves its record to 16-8 on the campaign. The Lions host Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC) to confront the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 9. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 13-15. Forsyth Home Educators lost 66-28 in their recent league challenge against Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Asheville School (Independent) Blues (Asheville, NC) in a NCISAA Carolinas challenge, on Wednesday, February 7. Rabun Gap-Nacoochee will attempt to improve on its 5-16 season record. The Blues come into the challenge with a 6-14 record after their 60-43 league win over Carolina Day (Asheville, NC).
