Kentucky High School Basketball - Marshall County can't hold off Murray
February 6, 2024: Benton, KY 42025 The Murray Tigers basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Marshall County Marshals to 46 in the Tigers league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christian Fellowship for a District 4 contest on Friday, February 9. Murray will battle a Eagles team coming off a 83-52 non-league win over Fulton City (Fulton, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 8-15.
The Marshals (17-5) will now prepare for their contest against Calloway County (Murray, KY). The Lakers come into the District 4 contest with a 12-8 record. In their last contest, Calloway County edged Haywood (Brownsville, TN), 70-68, in a non-league contest.
