The Ridge Point Panthers softball team scored 18 runs and held the host Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes to 2 in the Panthers league win on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Creek for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 22. Ridge Point will confront a Lions team coming off a 18-0 league win over Rudder (Bryan, TX). The Lions record now stands at 17-0.

With the loss, Fort Bend Hightower moves to 12-2 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City, TX) to confront the Knights in a 6A Region III District 20 battle on Tuesday, March 25. The Knights come into the battle with a record of 1-9. Fort Bend Elkins won 17-2 in their recent league battle against Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX)
