The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX) and the host Fort Bend Elkins Knights (Missouri City, TX), observed Fort Bend Hightower's softball team prevail over Fort Bend Elkins by a tally of 27-15.

The Hurricanes (13-2) will now prepare for their bout against Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX). The Tigers go into the 6A Region III District 20 bout with a 6-6 record. In their last bout, Fort Bend Travis knocked off Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX), 15-0, in a league bout.
