Ridge Point Panthers (Missouri City, TX) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs (Sugar Land, TX), 16-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Ridge Point upgrades its record to 14-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Atascocita (Humble, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, March 27. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 15-2. Atascocita won 9-0 in their recent league game against Goose Creek Memorial (Baytown, TX)

The Bulldogs now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Bend Dulles for a 6A Region III District 20 game on Friday, March 28. Fort Bend Austin will play a Vikings squad coming off a 17-2 league loss to Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 0-6.
