The Covenant Day Lions baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Cannon Cougars to 0 in the Lions league win on Tuesday.

The Lions now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cannon for a NCISAA Charlotte test on Thursday, March 27. Covenant Day will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 9-0 league loss to Covenant Day (Matthews, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 4-3.
